Amy, you were one of my best friends in primary school, as we spent most morning and evenings after school together due to childminding. I have so many special memories with you, including getting up to sing and dance to 'Big Cook Little Cook' every time it came on TV (I still remember the words!), matching purple coats which I'm sure all 4 of us wore at some point, dance lessons where we used to make up our own choreography at the end, whizzing across the floor cutting everyone up, and trips to the park where we never wanted to leave.
Unfortunately we didn't have many classes together at Garibaldi, until the last few years. From the school trip to London, or staying late after school for art, it was obvious what a truly talented, funny, witty, and adventurous individual you really were.
I looked forward to seeing pictures from your travels around the world, and it was lovely to see what a special bond you had with Lucy and Jess, a bond that will never be broken (although I remember how you used to fight like cat and dog when you were younger, but that's what sisters are for!) You've travelled to places and experienced things that most people can only dream of, and for that I really admire you.
It's devastating that you were taken so soon, and my heart goes out to your family and friends, they were so incredibly lucky to have you in their lives. Wherever you are Amy, I hope you've got your camera clicking away making many more special memories.
